We introduced PE 3408 Polyethylene pipe to the U.S.Because PE 3408 resin has a higher hydrostatic design stress rating than conventional materials, PE 3408 pipe has a 25% higher pressure rating than conventional pipes with the same wall thickness. Our IPS and CTS 200# pipe is dual-marked for 3406 and 3408 (since it meets both standards) giving you more control over inventory and costs.
PE pipe, due to its flexibility, is easily installed, requiring only minimal labor. The product is also highly chemically resistant, has a long life expectancy, and is not susceptible to rust, rot, or electrolysis. Polyethylene 3408 material is the strongest PE material available today for Jet and submersible pumps, water distribution lines, and piping for other liquids.
