Free flow one direction, blocked flow opposite direction. This Northman in-line check valve is designed to allow free flow of oil in a hydraulic system in one direction and block flow in the reverse direction. It is roughly composed of valve body, valve clack, piston rod, bonnet spring and other components. When the water level of a water tower drops, float valve is open, and the pressure reduces forming pressure difference between the above and below piston. Driven by this difference,valve clack is opened and water begins to flow in. When water level rise to the control level, the float valve closes, and the pressure increases. At that time the valve clack is closed and due to that the pressure above the piston is greater than the pressure below.With such a repeating circulation, it is able to supply water automatically.

3/4in. NPT female pressure and tank ports. This Northman adjustable relief valve is designed to limit the operating pressure in a hydraulic system to a maximum set pressure. The valve may be connected into the pressure line so that system pressure flows through, or it may be teed off the pressure line with one of the pressure ports plugged. When the system reaches the maximum desired setting, the internal piston moves to smoothly relieve pressure to tank, maintaining stable pressure control and repeatability. Ports are also provided for a gauge and for remote pressure control. it is commonly used to extend and retract a double-acting hydraulic cylinder. As a single-solenoid valve, it will remain in its home position until shifted electrically, returning to home when the power is removed. Its molded coils are moisture and dirt resistant.
